Last week i heard on SGU about the HOlogram Principle. Now, i'm not a physicist and im not very good with math, but i love science. My eldest sister had (at the time i found VERY annoying) metal plaque on her door that said "without science art is nothing", which at the time was basically a raspberry in my face!
But, all that not withstanding, my dad was a scientist and somehow i got the love of science drilled in me. But, unfortunately with me, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing: so bear with me.
So, this hologram principle: it's not yet a theory, its just an idea but the general principle is that the universe as we know it is BASICALLY a projection from a two dimensional construct. The whole idea is so awesome, but they're also getting some of this from a gravity wave detector..and..oh heres the link already!

In a wierd way it reminds me of Myst and Riven. Wouldnt it be cool if the universe reacted the same way the brain does when we're reading a book!
But, you know, those Novella brothers were right when one said (in SGU) that it takes alot of creativity and imagination like an artist to work through the potential of the universe. So, i guess without art science is nothing..hehe
